About the Role:

Mphasis is looking for a Junior to Mid-level Application Deployment Engineer for the role of Splz Associate Info II to manage projects for one of its clients. The ideal candidate should be passionate about technology, experienced in administration, deployment, and migration activities, and comfortable working in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle application deployment projects using SCCM.
• Work with App-V and Citrix environments for application delivery and virtualization.
• Deploy and troubleshoot applications across Windows platforms including Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures (VDIs).
• Maintain strong process knowledge in packaging and deployment lifecycle management.
• Participate in testing and successful deployment of software to all supported platforms.
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes effectively.
• Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes, administrative procedures, architecture details, known issues, workarounds, and application-specific information.
• Resolve technical issues and explore alternative solutions to improve project outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively within the team and communicate with stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
• Train and mentor team members to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in application deployment using SCCM.
• Good understanding of App-V and Citrix environments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting applications across Windows platforms (Windows 7/10/Server) and VDIs.
• Solid process knowledge and experience in the end-to-end lifecycle of packaging and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Wintel technologies such as DFS, storage, networking, and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and tools, including SQL, WQL, WMI, PowerShell, and VBScript.
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployment and operational processes.
• Experience handling Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with App-V Management Console for virtualized application deployment in physical and virtual environments is a plus.
• Experience administering SCCM software delivery methods, including advertised programs, machine and user targeting, Application Library, and Software Center.
• Must be willing to work from the office.
• Must be flexible to support 24/7 shifts, including night shifts.
• Educational qualifications: B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, or equivalent technical degree from a recognized institution.
